The Garden of Eden; Beauty and Misery on Earth
Eve was created from the ribs of Adam and they resided in the Garden of Eden. God created them in his presence and God gave them the freedom to make their own choices. Unfortunately they were tempted by the devil who was disguised as a serpent in the Garden of Eden.

Adam and Eve took a wicked turn of fate and ate the forbidden fruit that God had told them to never eat. From the point on Adam and Eve and all people since have faced the consequence of sin as well as pain and suffering.

Where Is the Garden of Eden

So the question has long been posed where exactly was the Garden of Eden and what has become of it. The Bible talks about the lineage of people that followed Adam and Eve, and how they continued to sin and take for granted the opportunities that God had put before them. In the book of Genesis God talks about teaching the people on Earth a lesson about their choices, and living according to his word.

The Flood and the Garden

God talks to the prophet Noah and tells him of a flood that will cover the whole Earth. Noah heeds God's warning and builds an arc to preserve a pair of any living thing that could be fit onto the arc.

For 40 days and 40 nights the entire world flooded and the only surviving living beings were aboard that arc Noah had constructed. The skeptics out there that have a hard time believing the flood actually happened have been proven to only be skeptics because there is hard scientific evidence to prove that indeed the flood did happen.

Atop Mt. Everest, and even along the highest walls of the grand canyon, there is archaeological evidence of crustacean life which undoubtedly explains that at some point thousands of years ago all of these high elevated points were indeed under water.

Once the flood had receded the tectonic plates and shifting of the earth created Mt. Everest and rapid receding of the water carved out the grand canyon. Only God has the power to make such a powerful thing happen.

With all of that being said the question about the existence of the Garden of Eden is undeniably true that it did in fact exist. The exact whereabouts of where the Garden of Eden was on Earth before the flood is something that is hard to nail down exactly.

Most Biblical scholars have come to the consensus that Garden of Eden may have been somewhere in the fertile crescent which is is the modern day countries of Iran and Iraq. The first known civilization of people also later developed in Mesopotamia in the fertile crescent so it is a very valid argument that the Garden of Eden was in fact in that same in area. For believers in all the God teaches, it is often hard to understand the scope and size of God's work, that is why we rely on faith in his plan that is at work.
